Hooked on Blackboard Paint

I’ve gotten sick of the piles of papers and possessions that cover our table and decided to work out a way to divide them up, so headed off to Bunnings on Saturday morning and found these craft crates, some blackboard paint and a few other bits and pieces.

And ta-da! Blackboard crates, labelled for their current purpose but easily turned into something else in the future.

But then, I had some blackboard paint leftover, so I grabbed four terracotta pots.

Here’s the lazy person’s way to paint them without even taking the soil out.

And here’s the finished result:

Maisie spent the day hoping my next job was to carpet the concretre floor of the studio, but she was bang out of luck.

I’ve just moved our bed to this wall but had to get rid of the bedside tables as the room’s not wide enough to fit them. So, I needed to put a shelf in above the bed.

A little shelf kit from the cheapie bin at the local hardware shop has done the job.

On top of that, I painted some old frames and the tiles in our entrance-way white. No doubt more photos to come when I get those projects finished too.
